Stressful toxic manipulative environment
|
Personal trainer are underplayed and get discourage by management. Expect to work on days off answering messages. Clients put on schedules in the night when you are home resting and expect for you to call them and train them the next day. If you don’t see they put you clients over your five hrs and then you get in trouble. When asking for days expect not to get them when you don’t meet the or monthly standards. Not an enjoyable environment makes you hate working out or any fitness environment that made you happy after work I hate this environment

Very unhygienic managers were interesting characters but did not really enjoy my time there working as a personal trainer however getting a hourly rate of pay and then commissions of PT sessions delivered is a great way to start

the job is unclear and they don't explain anything, everyone is pretty new so nobody is helpful and if you're doing something wrong they dont give warnings or explain how it's done they just fire you, on top of that you have to "fit in"

Pay is lacking for the amount of work they give you. Long hours and hard to find quality staff with such a low pay. With an increase in pay you'll get a more qualified team

Like any gym, gain what you want out of it. They're all similar in some ways and depending on how good you are at sales/retail that is going to heavily factor in to how much you enjoy working in a gym.

Do not work here if you want a job. They will just lie to you on everything

A typical day at work is making calls, securing leads, outreach using your car, and setting up special events using your funds not being reimbursed. Human Resources do not support or help in any way. The Sales/Operation, and Regional managers don't care. I could go on and on but it is not worth my time. I would avoid employment in any of the 18 franchises owned and operated by incompetent people.

The coworkers I worked with were awesome and management was great to work for.

Making sure the locker rooms was clean and also people clogged up the toilet.

Management worked with you when you needed to take time off for appointments or family emergency.

Busy in most days but the weekends slowed down a bit.
