The pay was very good for a part-time high schooler like myself at the time with helpful and for the most part nice employees as well as having very sweet regular customers that made clocking in enjoyable. The only thing unenjoyable was the management and some staff having rude attitudes on busy days. Only part about the job that was tedious was when people overloaded the donation door, which does happen from time to time, especially around the holidays. I would recommend working for Goodwill.

During my employment here, I worked as a Career Resource Specialist for their career resources center in Riverside, CA. It was unexpectedly very slow. Not enough foot traffic, which for me unfortunately was a flaw. The only major activity was during the career resource fairs. Leadership at the time of employment wasn't a good fit for it's team members. Competitive Pay and Benefits are a plus. The hardest part of the job was not having much to do. I ended up leaving because it wasn't a good fit for me. I like being busy and that wasn't available with this specific department.

No structure. Poor management.

The point system and limited medical excuses per year. Production quotas and inconsistency.

Depressing. Non inspirational
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Fast but depressing. It is pretty lax there but the lack of management and staff is greatly felt. Minimum pay. Great for a stepping stone or getting on your feet but not a long term placement. They offer resources but most are reserved for Allegheny county residents.
