Very Toxic environment. They hire smart people and they will dictate what to do. I think companies should hire smart people to listen to them how to develop their company. Leadership is very cautious and wont trust their employees. I should say a short story here. Read this if you are the person who is reading the reviews before taking a decision to join this company with offer letter in your hand. Otherwise plz skip. I picked the shippo offer over the other 2 offer on that day. I never expected I would be called off from duty within the 9-month period just for the reason that the leadership had the change of idea of moving the responsibility of the resources i manage to a different team. In that case why would they hire me 9 months ago? I would have taken the other opportunities. It gives me the impression that the leadership has no clear proper vision of what they are doing. Very fickle-minded decisions. Some “X” joined the company in my hierarchy 2 levels above. She just came like couple of months ago and did all the changes to the team like laying people off. I don't understand how Shippo leadership is supporting such bold decisions of laying off employees upon the decision of someone who just added to the company. At least Shippo should see a year how she is doing before giving her the power of laying the people off from shippo. This all gives me the impression that the jobs in Shippo are very very very fragile cuz of the uncertain, fickle-minded, and Zero Vision Leadership.

I have 3 advices: 1. Change all your ground level managers. 2. Stop hiring toxic people. Especially if you are hiring to leadership role. First hire a absolute candidate who knows how to hire a apt person. 3.Dont experiment with the H1b visa holders. At least you should behave ethically even before hiring itself . You should hire h1b candidate If and only if they have a clear vision of having that role at least a minimum of 2 years. If not, Plz only opens the positions for the citizens/GC holders. Fo H1B people, it is not just the job loss. It is like leaving everything behind in this country and leave with in 60 days if not get hired again with in that period. Do you even understand how it is going to effect a Family?
