Great learning opportunities!

Green house has been amazing for me to expand my knowledge and skills. Management could really use some work. They tend to ask too much of their team members with not nearly enough compensation. If the company were to have better compensation they would be able to hold on to good workers more. They tend to ask way too much from some.

Teams are very negative and expect you to learn without assistance or coaching. Not enough compensation for what is being asked of the lower tier teams.
There is a lot to learn if you have the stomach to deal with the workplace environment at Green House Data.

Been with Green House Data for a good chunk of time now and seen it change from 25 employees to over 80 and multiple locations. That has translated into some growing pains as others have said, but also some excitement and opportunity. Lately the company has taken a slightly more corporate turn but that's necessary to manage a larger operation efficiently.
There can be a disconnect between different departments and locations. Management is generally very transparent and practices an open door policy; you can go chat with the CEO about growth plans if you want to. From talking with others and reading these reviews it seems like quite a bit comes down to your individual manager; mine has been great to work with and negativity in the Denver office tends to be low.
Laid back culture but the engineering, support, and data center ops teams definitely work pretty hard. Beer in the fridge, free snacks, unlimited PTO. Healthcare is OK. Wages are fair in my experience. Company does invest in its employees with certifications and opportunity to pursue the type of work you want within the org, up to and including transfer or changing roles completely.

Green House Data loves its employees, and trusts them to make decisions. Management has been under fire, recently, but they continue to make good decisions for the longevity of the company. I wouldn't value the other reviews here- most were let go for bad attitudes and not performing in that department.This is an awesome place to work! Yeah it's hard work but you learn a lot, they pay for certifications, free snacks great benefits and unlimited pto. Yes the entry level pay could be better but you know what it is when you apply-plus they now have a company bonus program. I'm just glad they got rid of the toxic people in the department. If you want to get your foot in the door in IT, this is a great place to be and grow.
