Will work you to the grave. And manipulate you along the way. Company functions off skeleton crew in store itself, AND has a kitchen, deli, and meat department. Expect to work kitchen, deli, meat department By yourself all at once. Expect to cashier barista grocery and be everywhere at once. You’ll always be short staffed and asked to do more for some company vision about a granola bar on a mountain. Unfortunately gaslighting doesn’t pay the bills with this minimum wage job. The turnover is so high besides the ones who’ll never leave that been there from the beginning. A workload of 3-5 people will regularly be your problem because managers are non existent or MIA. The food handling at this place was the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. Great neighborhood customers. An opportunity to work with some outstanding grocery professionals who are passionate about their product and the people they serve. Growth is slower than planned, which is understandable in a start up. The focus on creating a family versus a team working environment is a detriment when it comes to poor performers. Those same poor performers are crafty enough to pick and choose which values to exploit in order to remain employed.
