Gruen is an incredible community of intelligent professionals who are down to earth and enjoyable to spend time with. There is a great culture of everyone lifting eachother up to become better. Gruen is a great place to quickly make an impact and have an active role in client work from day one. The size of the agency (about 30 employees) allows you to become someone in the organization, rather then more of a number at a larger institution.

There are sometimes hectic days where client work gets stressful, but this is existent any agency.

Gruen has an amazing team which makes for a great work culture. The office atmosphere is fun, collaborative and relaxed. The small size of the agency along with the great management team allows for a lot of flexibility, which I really appreciate especially after seeing what working for a corporate company is like. I also love being able to see the impact of my work - very rewarding! Hard work does not go unnoticed!

Due to the size of the agency, we sometimes don't get enough time to go to all of the industry events, which can make keeping up with trends a little more difficult.

On the professional side, lots of collaboration, high program standards and constant improvement.

Great culture with a lot of opportunities if you are a go-getter

- Very good culture where everyone is very friendly and helpful
- Work life balance is top-notch. I came to work at 8 and able to leave at 4 most days (granted that you work through lunch)
- Lots of opportunities for growth if you are motivated and willing to work hard
They have some of the best clients that I've worked with
- Awesome coffee machine and workplace (the place is amazing with ton of history and on-location restaurants)

- Complacency exists as this agency has been around for a long time. However, the leadership is fully aware of this and has been consistently making changes to keep the company moving forward in a right direction.
- A few old practices still exists like people get promoted based on their seniority. This will not work especially in the fast growing industry where talents don't wait around for years to get promoted. Again, they are aware of this and making changes as they go.

Very collaborative and family friendly. Not your typical 'turn and burn' agency, in fact there is very little turn over. The clients are great and the work is challenging work. Good culture - lots of intangibles. Overall a very good place to work.

My favorite part of working at Gruen was the company culture. They do very well at hiring great people and fostering a work environment that promotes learning and development. The job is challenging but not to the point of feeling overworked. Management does very well at creating good work-life balance for employees. Bonus half-day Fridays during the summer!
