Lot's of information was word of mouth -Overworked and little pay for it. -Little to no growth opportunity -No hard benefits. Shotty health insurance, no dental or vision so hope you have a spouse with good benefits! -Management does not act on concerns. It stops at them and nothing ever gets addressed. -Training takes too long and there's no true timeline of training. -No break room or area for team members to hang out or even eat lunch in -Turn over is insane. After initial training, you receive the option to work from home two days per week, and the flexibility from management is second-to-none. They understand that appointments, life, etc. get in the way, and often times, you are able to WFH vs. needing to take a PTO day. Management is friendly, inclusive, and supportive, and they really take the time to ensure you feel valued, your ideas are welcomed, and you're comfortable with workload, responsibilities, etc. I've never been so comfortable needing to talk to upper management or my coworkers - the atmosphere is positive, and everyone is in the mindset that everything is a work in progress/we can work together to achieve a positive outcome. There is a wide range of talents and experiences here, so you have the ability to learn and grow in many areas. People take the time to work with you, teach you, set up meetings, etc. because they WANT to see you succeed and gain knowledge. GD has truly been one of the best working experiences I've had since coming out of college - it was a workplace I dreamt didn't exist until I got here in terms of how positive its culture and opportunities are. Overall, it was a great environment, team, and experience. Benefits? Yeah right! They have been promising health insurance for years. The wage you will be offered is not livable in the Lake Country area or anywhere for that matter. If you choose GD, prepare to be under appreciated, under paid, and over worked.
