Been working as a contractor for The Guggenheim Museum over 5 years. It's one of the best jobs I've had. I continue to learn & grow as a person. I've seen artists I had never had the privilege to see before. The atmosphere is one of fun, friendliness & ensuring that visitors have the best experience. The Guggenheim was a wonderful experience indeed. Having gained insight into how the art work is handled, cared for and my responsibility as a Watch Engineer to ensure the appropriate climate to preserve the art work has greatly enhanced my appreciation for the Guggenheim and similar institutions both here and around the world. Excellent team collaboration between the trades, a strong sense of pride for the work being performed, and a sense of accomplishment when an exhibit was complete.
