Inclusive, fun, great benefits, unlimited Pto

Iâve only been at Gusto for a couple of months now but I love the company very much. They are very inclusive, supportive, and really push for the community aspect of the workplace, encouraging you to make friends and be a part of things. My only complaint is the bit of micromanaging that Iâve noticed and also the fact that my job was sold to me as âdata entryâ when it is health insurance processing for small businesses. I felt that they called it data entry to get people to take a lower pay rate than I feel I deserve for this amount of work. I also feel that I was very inadequately trained. However I am working hard to learn and do good at my job because I love this company and want to stay here. They have unlimited PTO, the health insurance plan covers 100% and starts the day you start working, they have amazing benefits for those who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant including covering IVF, contributing towards adoption, and a hefty bonus for when you have a child or complete adoption. They do yearly bonuses for your âgustoversaryâ and the people in this company genuinely believe in the work they are doing. Everyone is incredibly kind, motivated, and supportive. I am so glad to have found this company. But with any company youâll have pain points, which i mentioned mine above.

Gusto is employee-friendly. They have wonderful benefits that hardly exist today with most "good" companies. Gusto is very proactive to remain relevant and on the cutting-edge of its industry. They are also client focused and surrounds all activities and decisions around client engagement. If given the chance, I'd accept the offer again!

Very young culture environment. Lots of passionate people who believe in the work they're doing. Compensation is not great compared to the market. PTO is great and management really encourages it.

Everyone at the company was very kind and helpful. The role was stressful but had support from upper management. I was in customer service so it was very fast paced and stressful.

Gusto is great, but they need more employees.

Gusto is clearly understaffed and the growing pains are taking a toll on the productivity of its employees. We are constantly required to overwork ourselves and are not being properly compensated for the amount of work we do. Gusto is a great company, but I think they aren’t prioritizing manpower to meet their volume.

Not worth the hassle

When I went there the head chef went AWOL for December and I was left with no help, not given the training I was ment to have at that point and when I did get the training I found out that even though my chefs team hours was getting cut by the area head chef, I would still have been understaffed if they hadn’t!! Upper management just Looking out for themselves and every pay day people had hours/money missing that never got sorted!
