Amazing students and staff, many passionate people wanting the best for the community

Upper management really doesn't care much about keeping mid-management happy, they are also racist and don't like it when others shine brighter than them. Administrators have no protection what so every, they can be let go at any moment without a reason and the college tends to lose its best people like this. Makes you believe they care but then stop good things from getting better.

Restructure your HR department it is a mess, you are on your own when it comes to processes and procedures and there is no support. Too many things keep secret or in hiding. There are a few deans that are just awful and everyone knows it, they should be gone. Also, consider a deep and thorough audit into the foundation.

Typical bureaucracy with obstacle courses designed to keep funds out of the hands of the people who actually do the work, but if you are a manager who gets promoted and wants to shift funding from your old position to your new position to increase your salary, they got you.

You get what you pay for, if you cheap out on your staff, they will cheap out on you. Administrators who pay themselves highly will make up reasons to validate their pay. Cut down on the number of administrative positions, push the funds to the faculty and staff.

Friendly atmosphere. Nice hours. Good pay. Nice discount. Occasional free snacks. Good management. Easy work.

Great job for a student who's looking to also have time to do homework and such. Also, it's a great refresher for classes that you've already taken and are tutoring.
|
There honestly aren't really any cons with working for Hartnell, other than the limit of hours they place on students but that's it.
