I've been working for HealthSparq for around 7 years. I've seen it all from the early days trying to get a new product to market to a now maturing company. A few years ago the company had some struggles with retaining staff and also dissatisfied clients. Those days are gone now. I've seen significant improvements in leadership, process improvements and product. This is a great place to work!

The relationship with the parent company Cambia more often than not provides benefit to HealthSparq. There are times in which HealthSparq could be more nimble as a standalone entity.

Pay is somewhat competitive.

The current Client Success leadership is horrendous. The senior leadership does not understand the space, is only concerned with not rocking the waves and has repeatedly fired anyone who was brave enough to speak up. Completely unjustified laid offs. You’d never know when you’d get the email that “so and so is no longer with the company”. Then we would have meetings to talk about our concerns where NO ONE would speak up. Why? Because people are afraid to. Overall bad management.

CEO is passive and does not like leading, he prefers traveling and conferences.
He is letting his executive do whatever they want. There is a difference between trusting your staff and just being completely hands off. His leadership team is destroying the company and he is letting them do it.
My advice is for Cambia management: make a change to the leadership team before they run HealthSparq into the ground. Start with the CEO then focus on the Client Success team.
