Terrible Work Culture & No Room For Growth

The only benefit this job ever had was it's lucky ability to hire good people that I worked most closely with, the warehouse staff. Other than that if you want to work at a place where your room for growth is non-existant. Try not to ask too many questions either or you'll be met with attitude & blowback. Upper management will never treat you correctly unless you work on another team in the company, a team that they deem to be "Higher-ranking". It's remarkable that a tailoring operation where the main business practice is tailoring would treat the staff so closely related to it the absolute worse but hey what do I know. I would steer clear of this place if you can, there is ultimately nothing here for you perhaps you might collect a couple paychecks for a bit but if you want or desire something more than less than the bare minimum from a company look towards elsewhere.

Management fundamentally does not understand the business of tailoring. If you're an experienced professional tailor stay away. If you're looking to grow your skill set, there is no one there to teach you. Not a tech company.

The only thing I appreciated from working here is that we get to wear many hats and be involved in different areas. BUT that's all. Everything else I experienced was horrible. You get no support, answers or recognition from upper management. They are trying to run the business on a huge corporate level but you can count the number of people that work in the office with one hand. Such a joke. The owner is very hands off but quick to judge you on your work when she's not even involved on day to day operations. They will trick you and make you feel you're a part of the company's future and then the next day let you go with no reason.
