I've held a couple different positions in my career at HLM and each position has been a great experience for me. The company listens to your ideas, the teams collaborate and trust your judgement when making decisions. You're recognized for hard work and we have fun. Our customers and our talented team members is the best part of our company. Connecting with customers and helping them with strategies to grow their business is extremely fulfilling. Collaborating with team members who have so much expertise and talent allows you to grow your craft and expertise. We have set big goals for our company and the leadership team continues work hard with open transparency at our quarterly meetings. HLM continue to have open door policy for communication, hire new employees that want to be accountable, are positive and work well in team environments.

I've worked at HLM almost 10 years and we grown substantially over time, I like the culture and the innovation that the company strives for. We have sweet quarterly meetings offsite at nice places around town for planning, vision and company information. I'm on the sales side of things, so each day we are looking to grow our client base which is challenging in all jobs, but I love what I do, I'm treated with respect and I feel I can talk with management openly and honestly anytime.

Great Place to Work

High Level Marketing is a great place to work and a place where your voice is truly heard. A typical day allows you to be creative and get your work done while collaborating with other teams within the company. In the past 10 years with the company I have learned a lot and am able to use those skills daily to put out great work. Management is great and really listens to your concerns and suggestions. The culture is great and everyone really works towards a unified goal of the company growth. The hardest part of the company is its fast paced, but if you are like me and enjoy something new every day you will fit right in. The most enjoyable part of the job is working on soo many different projects and industries.

Enjoyable place to work

I have worked at HLM for 5+ years. In a typical day I am able to put on my headphones and happily focus on my tasks without many unnecessary or unscheduled interruptions which I really appreciate.
The different teams collaborate fairly well and there are a lot of opportunities to develop different skills and try new approaches to problems.
The management makes constant efforts to make improvements and are receptive to suggestions.

A Special Place to Be

As someone who has been with HLM for 5+ years, I am proud to have been a part of the tremendous growth we continue to experience to this very day. I say that for a couple of reasons, as HLM is not your everyday, average provider of digital marketing services.
No one person here has all the answers, which is part of what makes this such a special place to be. We work within a very open and collaborative team environment in which everyone has an opportunity to speak up and share ideas. At the same time, we operate within an industry that evolves and changes by the day, so keeping up with advances in technology, how people engage with various devices and the algorithms the search engines use is an incredible challenge. However, the ability to work openly and collaboratively is what has fueled our growth over the past few years!
At the end of the day, our clients depend on us to help them grow their respective businesses, so we take what we do seriously and we're often required to work at a fast pace to help them achieve their goals. That being said, we are not an ideal environment for those that aren't genuinely invested in their work and are simply looking for a cush job they can coast through. However, for those who genuinely enjoy what they do, are a bit competitive and motivated to do great work, this is a fantastic place to work and grow!
On the topic of growth, the other reason I mentioned this is a special place to be is based on our owners, our leadership team, our products, and the clients we support. There are numerous businesses out there that do what we do, but there are few that bring all these aspects together the way HLM has. If there was ever a perfect storm of ingredients to fuel future growth, this is it. Again, I have seen us go from 10 to 20 to 30 to now 50+ people in a relatively short period of time, and as we continue to focus on our own growth, it won't be long before we have 100 or even 200+ employees.
That all being said, I chose to share my thoughts about being a part of HLM based on how I genuinely feel about where we're at, where we're going, and the caliber of people we hope to welcome along the way!

I have been an employee at High Level Marketing since 2011. During that time I have been able to witness firsthand the company grow tremendously. Our staff has grown in size from a handful, to a full team of over 50 dedicated employees. This is a company that truly values the opinions of their clients and their staff.
The office vibe is one that is laid back, but that gets the job done. There is a great work / fun balance, where you can enjoy the work you are doing. We have company outings, happy hours, tasty treats in the break room, lots of laughs and great times.
This company values their employees and provides them with some really awesome opportunities, such as, continued education in your specialty, comfortable office environment, health benefits, good compensation, flexible vacation and 401k options.

Smart Teams and Good Work/Life Balance

HLM has been a great place to work for the past two years. The company is growing and it's been rewarding to contribute directly to growth, with clients and internal projects for new products. I've gotten to see some small businesses grow into having dozens of employees over the course of years due to our work.
Work hours are typically around 40, but can jump up to 50 if I have a very busy week. I have never been asked to work on the weekend since starting in 2017, which is a big change from my last job.
Culture is good. Departments tend to stick together, though. Work wise, there's collaboration across all teams, especially the small ones like PPC. Haven't had issues with anyone currently working here. Everyone is pretty nice and office politics are kept to a minimum (again, big change from my last job).
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to actually get better at what they do but can't stand the office politics of big agencies. A lot of the people here left that world for a better work-life balance. Myself included!
