They have loaded up on staff attorneys and contractors to avoid paying market rates for the same work and to avoid paying for benefits. The partners absolutely get their rocks off on yelling at and talking down to any and everyone. There is a profound lack of respect, and the hierarchy of partners treating everyone poorly trickles down to associates, then to staff attorneys, then to contractors and paralegals. Fighting and trash talking between staff and attorneys constantly. They refuse to fire bad employees, which in turn leads to the suffering of good employees. No HR Department which leads to issues that are self explanatory. Managing Partner does not care about the staff whatsoever and treats the attorneys like children who need to be babysat. Most of the attorneys are pleasant to work for, however, the firm itself is not. I enjoyed working there I learned alot about multi-district litigation, F.D.A., e-discovery. and products liability. It was a multi-generstional family firm that was nurturing snd supportive. This was s beautiful environment. Working ten hour days and not being valued for your commitment and service was very enlightening and disappointing. I had a great experience working there up until med February when the management was changed. When management changed the other two janitors/maintenance people I worked with started slacking in their work in which I was left to pick up there slack. When I went to management to get a resolution I was overlooked.
