If you’re looking to build experience this is the place

If you want a place that will hire you without much experience and let you build up your resume this is it. However it comes with a hefty price. Management is literally the worst, nothing is ever answered directly when it comes to employee concerns, and work notice are always last minute. The plant manager is some one who is power driven and will throw his weight around, does not care one bit about his workers as he is out only out to save him self and no one else. They announce shutdowns last minute so be sure to save all of your pto, you only will earn about 5 hours per check, however so if you come in during a shut down you will take the shutdown unpaid. Their benefits as far as insurance 401k are good but they do not make up for the lack of management. Over all this place is only a job, as their is really no way to move up in this company unless you have someone who is already at the top of the company. Lay offs are not a surprise and randoms to get rid of their bad apples are also one of their weapons. When the company is in need of hot orders they expect you to have your schedule ready and available to them but everything is last minute. If this place only had better management and considered that the people in the warehouse are their foundation, enough to realize that when you dont pay people well they are living check to check maybe this place would be a great place to be. Therefore unless they get rid off the manager who is in charge of the production, this place will not be an adequate place for people with a family as he does not hesitate to shut down in order to bring up revenue.

I was unhappy because the administration. But overall it was a good. Good benefits and pay. Probably the administration in Louisiana change but I don't really know, I wish good vibes to everyone there.

This is the highest paying job that I've ever held, paying $12.00 per hour. The benefits and coverages provided were great in addition to the wage. The work was very arduous and sometimes dangerous manual labor, but I enjoy that type of environment and particularly thrive when I am placed in it.

I was a Tacker/Fitter,i would fit and tack bottoms or top for chemical containers. It was a good experience to learn how to weld and use different tools.Management and co workers were easy to communicate and work with.

Hours are pretty standard Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Break time is 9am and ends at 9:15am Lunch time is 12:30pm-1pm.
Good supervisors that are always looking out for your best intrest.
Ive learned so much from Hoover such as how to Weld MIG and TIG, How to be a team player with a game winning attitude all day everyday .

My day at work consist of cleaning and maintaining Bio Hazard chemical tanks on a daily basis.
I learn how drive a forklift as well as different chemicals by name and the dangers of them.
my co Workers are ok. I mean we all have our days, some good and some bad.
Is the bickering and Rumors that go around as well as everyone tends to think their in charge on occasions.
When we do get it together its like family. Its been hard since i left the military
