Great company, but very special culture

You have to be ready because it's nothing you can expect from having worked for western companies. It's going to take 2 to 3 years to understand the dynamics and the culture. You are by yourself. Things are totally different, but it's a great school of both work and life that forces western people to think out of the box, if they want to succeed.

Work is good, but the work culture is not. Management is not good, managers do a lot of micro-management, but managers are good on the personal level. It doesn't matter if you come at 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM, the manager and work will keep you in office till 9:00 PM. People who spend more than 5-6 years in Huawei are used to the culture and don't mind staying late daily, but for new people, it is a problem. Also, working in Huawei means no social and personal life 5 days a week.

Aprendes mucho por tu cuenta

Es una empresa que explota a sus trabajadores, aprendes mucho por tu cuenta, muy pocas veces nos dieron training. Es dificil tratar con los chinos laboralmente ya que exigen trabajes como ellos de (9 am a 10 pm) te contratan por outsourcing o como partner y te despiden sin previo aviso, solo recojen tus cosas y te sacan de la oficina, no te liquidan,te hacen firmar renuncia.
