- Small team so even as an intern you are given a good amount of responsibility that leads to good experience within the industry.
- Room for learning; gained many useful skills

- Some of the daily work can be repetitive but the tasks were important to the day-to-day function of the company and the clients.
- Clients are all quite similar so most of the work on behalf of clients are also similar.

You learn a lot in terms of the political paradigm. The company is very well connected internationally.

The boss in 2017 was not a nice guy: sexist and aggressive.
The turnover of staff was very quick, and i soon decided i wanted to move on too.

Its got a good network and the external political consultants are really interesting. Its a coal face entrepreneur company that has a can do anything attitude.
|
The pay is crap, no-one believes what the board says and they joke about betting three grand on a rugby match and don't give us pay rises.
Only one of the senior team in London has been at Hume Brophy for over a year and people leave because the work is hard and repetitive. They don;t support creativity and its one size fits all for all of their pr and public affairs work. They don't get social media and i was amazed at my new place how behind the curve they are with everything. You have to drink A LOT to get on with the team.
