Honestly the only thing I dislike is the Health insurance. After your deductible is met, insurance only pays 50%. The department head and my manager are great people. Work/life balance is good compared to last job.

Before covid there were numerous department and company gatherings outside of work.

Healthcare is bad.

Really friendly people and good environment
|
I really thought that everyone I met there was a super nice person and I didn't have any issues with them. The amount of work I received was reasonable and the company did fun things for its employees at holidays. However, sometimes there would be problems where the company was having a hard time meeting a deadline and everyone there would get extremely stressed. Then we would have to start working overtime and sometimes on weekends. Overall it was a really great company to work for.

It's a job - less stress than previous
|
It's a job and not a vacation. There has been moments of communication issues but they have tried to work through these and make it a somewhat less stressful environment. The shorter drive was one of my enticements to come here and the fact it was a new startup division. It has descent benefits and pay.

Very nice company. Caring HR team, great management. Occasional training to help the employees grow. Bonuses and company dinners for holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas etc which do a great job of bringing people together.
