If you're in for a real toxic and destructive corporate culture, IEG is a real treat for you!

None honestly. Except for that it makes you more resilient for future jobs
|
- unnecessary long working hours (Facetime at its finest)
- A lot of pitching, mostly work for nothing
- Misogynistic and sexist team that does not appreciate and support more introvert and subdued characters
- Associates back then left at 18 pm which is weird because it was a total contradiction to their love of hierachy and resppect towards seniors
- All in all just toxic work environment
- Quit my job because sexual harassment was a topic back then. When I tried to adress the problem, the Associates then threatened to fire me because apparently I wasnt good enough (which honestly might have been true because I never got any real feedback and if I did, it concerned the font color and alignment of text boxes in PP)
- Everybody (meaning team consisting of 99% males) is gossiping about each other when the person is not around
- Also a nice quote and honestly pretty enlightening quote from one of my associates back then: "As a woman to be successful in IB, you just have to be able to driink more than every other man"

Faked deals, impossible work atmosphere

Nice office and office assistants.
Good coffee.
Huge offices.

Bulg bracket bank workload, payment below average, even startups pay more in Berlin than IEG. The "100" employees worldwide do not exist --> Check LinkedIn company profile.
The high amount of closed deals yearly does not reflect the reality - not counting the "friends&family" deals, the number is definitely lower.
Bonus payments are not related to the performance of the team.
High fluctuation, two MD's, some MD's left the company recently, would guess the reason was on of the "founder MD's" at IEG.
