None really, I heard it used to be a good place to work about 10 years ago, but not anymore
|
Every day is chaotic, no organization. Upper management wants to get best results without providing the necessary tools to do it, equipment is falling apart and old, there is no sense of teamwork, no sense of being held responsible for actions, anyone can break a rule at any given time and there is no or very minimal repercussion. HR lacks professionalism. There is gossiping everywhere. Paid is low and they never want to give raises, they wait until 2 week notices to try to convince you to stay and pay you what is fair. They try to force people to work seven days a week.
Just an overall bad place to work.

Benefits are great with this company and there are many good people that work here.

A strong management team with a nonexistent leadership. The culture here has eroded since the company was bought out. It was a strong team that has been fractured with the absorbing of new investments and change of management. The new culture has broken away from the family atmosphere it once was and priorities have shifted to output and efficiencies of function over matters of ethics and safety.

Wilmer Texas plant - Management has no ethics, the business practices at IFS are immoral and damn near illegal. Your efforts do not matter, hourly employees are viewed as an expendable costs and your life does not matter to management. The only way to advance in this company is to suck up or be related to someone in management.
