With minimal base salary. Was told during the interview process that this was a new position, and upon 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year evaluations we would discuss increasing my salary package. Management will have a difficult time on-boarding new employees (whose financial livelihood depends on commissions/bonuses) -- especially sales people. Because, these are your front-line employees--sales drives the business from the street to the bank account; the sales people know the numbers, are conditioned to see thru the "BS" and must be fully engaged with the company to sell its products/services.
