A truly terrible place to work
|
From top management down the line to the trenches the managerial attitude as “don’t bother me”. Pay was atrocious for the work involved. And worst of all, they used fear and scare tactics to attempt higher numbers. Would threaten you if you didn’t want to work on a Saturday. That company needs a complete overhaul.

I worked as a mortgage underwriter for Indecomm for 3 1/2 years. Overall, it was a good experience; however, there are a few things that I did not care for. First, I only had one annual review in 2017 (I started in 2016). I left in 2020 with no other reviews. No idea how I was doing, but I never got into trouble so we just 'assume' we're doing well. I was put on a project that was just not for me, I begged to be put on another project and was refused, which is why I left. You get paid per file, you can make good money if you work a lot of overtime and/or weekend. Pay was fair depending on which project you were assigned to. Some projects pay more than others. Benefits were OK but I didn't need them so I can't speak for the current cost.
As far as management, it was hot and cold. We went through 4 team leads while I was there, most were terrible and difficult to get a hold of or get a response from, the last one we had was excellent. Upper management not bad.
