There are opportunities to do some regional traveling and there were some people there which I learned from. Compensation plans and how you're paid is cloudy at best. It seemed as though the rules changed which or something wasn't explained which precluded me from getting bonuses. You're there at the office from 8 in the morning, spend an hour and a half to two hours playing games, practicing pitches etc (this time is unpaid) then out to the field going door to door selling office products for the client, Quill. This makes for 10 hour days and 50+ hour work weeks getting paid in commission and bonuses only. THERE IS NO BASE SALARY which was not explained well during the interview process. The travel I mentioned is out of pocket with the exception of the hotel room. Gas, food and other expenses are not reimbursed and only tax deductible. I felt lied to, taken advantage of and will say with 100% certainty that this was the worst experience of my professional life. They will be changing their name and rebranding under the name Kentucky Marketing Solutions or KMS soon, at which time I'll be sure to post another review. Do yourself a favor, research Cydcor, Inertia, Prestige Acquisitions and Kentucky Marketing Solutions before accepting a position with this company. Promotion from Account Manager to a Leadership role was a joke. Essentially you do the same work only with more responsibilities and the same pay. It's a promotion in title only. Gained experience in working with TERRIBLE under experienced, youthful management Gained experience with working with frat-like guys who are hardcore drinkers (including managers) If you don't believe anything you read here, google Cydcor, Inc. - This company has a NATIONWIDE record of scamming people. Read the reviews. Any positive ones, you can bet, we're made by fellow Cydcor owners and I challenge them to disprove this! Terrible pay - 100% commission - Draw System Pay- They tell you about minimum wage but if you don't hit quotas you owe this money back to them! Ask this on your interview This IS the worrisome scam in the sales industry that you've been looking for. I challenge you to ask about the draw system of pay and to grill them about Cydcor and all the bad reviews.. The brainwashed sales people who interview you will defend this company to know end... Just know they will eventually leave due to not being able to pay their bills and feed themselves or their family.. I love the company culture! People there are very friendly and exciting to work with. When I first started in the company I was assigned a mentor who showed me the ropes. I was able to cultivate professional relationships within the company. The owner has an open door policy and allows us sit down town to ask questions and to get on the same page. Very family oriented feel. At times the days can get hectic based on the numbers of orders being processed. Was mislead from the interview and made false promises about salary. The co-workers were amazing to work with. The unpaid extra hours, the fact that it's a legal form of share-cropping, the lies about what people would be making (told $600-800 a week starting off when in reality everyone was mainly making under $300 for 50+ hours of work). The owner got a DUI and didn't show up to the office because she was in jail so we were late getting work started.
