Just okay
the pay was okay, benefits were good
no direction by management; training was outdated & via webinars only - no live training; partner & client support were separate departments...why?

No pros what so ever
Horrible management. Over worked no work life balance. The CFO and CEO are best friends. Way too much nepotism in this company. Zero management communications and they treat employees with disrespect.

Great people to work with. Have tons of online classes available to learn different areas of company.
Favoritism is a real problem. Lack of internal communication to the lower line employees. Executives are making decisions about positions or departments without looking at all information involved. This causes strains with all employees involved.

Procurement Assistant

Arlington, VA

Above average experience, par for the course within GovCon industry
Ability to wear many hats and take training courses at regarding procurement at client site FDA OAGs. Friendly work environment at client site. Laid back atmosphere. For the most part, the federal employees that you will work with are very friendly and willing to help. A good place to get your security clearance (public trust) which will open one up to employment opportunities.
Slow work days. Your used on an as needed basis and there isn't really a consistent workflow that keeps one occupied. I was hired as a procurement assistant, but I haven't purchased anything or aided with government purchases in any way since I have been hired. My current role is to aid CORs with their certification/recertification and to help set up for in-office and hosted training at our facility. I also assist the system support team with workarounds for system errors that help contract specialists (federal employees) purchase goods and services in a timely manner. So really I'm not building any skills that are marketable with other industries. There is a high probability that you will be silo'd into a role that is really not time consuming.

Be more engaged with your junior staff and see if they are interested in moving on to different contracts within the company. Have more interaction with gov't client to see how on site contractors time can be more efficiently used so that they can provide more value to the client.

Huge product, room for growth, great company
The company just keeps growing. The product is massive and requires a well trained group of people to support and manage. The pay and benefits are competitive.
The product can be overwhelming. The company has been know to reduce staffing where it felt it was superfluous.

HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND COMPANY
NONE!!! Nothing to be said!
They grab you in making it seem like it’s the best ever job. They then SLAM you with tons of new customers to implement for a go live date just so they get their revenue, then expect you to drop everything and work endless hours and weekends, as they do NOT care about their employees at all! It’s all about the higher ups making their $$, and employees are their money makers, but they put you as a salaried employee and you work 50-70 hours per week which doesn’t even come out to minimum wage! No one will back you up either and I quit! I was told what a great employee I was but yet they had nothing to say after I quit, so there you have it! Do not work for them, as they promise you the moon, but delivers zero!!
