Better than other Japanese companies, no stress, previous team was really good and friendly, flexible hours.
|
- Current management is really sick. You can be fired without any explanation just because some birdbrained manager complained about you to bosses in order to hide his/her mistakes by accusing you in it, and you even will not be asked about the situation.
- They do not care about quality of their product. Many talented content creators left the company just because no one listened to them. Feedback is not welcomed.
- The company hires native speakers for small money to create lessons. And obviously such lessons have a lot of mistakes.
- You wouldn't have any career possibilities .
- Even if you will do your best, company will not appreciate it.

Mostly flexible hours, as long as full-time was met
Lots of latitude in learning work for various areas of the company, and the company was supportive of self-set projects
Akasaka was a nice location, especially at lunch
|
Most communication was through Slack, so the office was very quiet and people didn't talk to each other much
Tasks could get very repetitive
Office could get stuffy in the summer heat

I learned a ton and had a wonderful time working for the company. I met so many great people in the office. It was a terrific way to experience Japan and grow my career at the same time. I started out as an intern and I am very thankful that this company hired me on full-time. And Akasaka is an AWESOME place to be during lunch time.
