This company cares about your progression

Although inrhythm is a consultancy company, it has definitely set itself apart from the rest. They have a huge learning and growth culture that has grown over my approximate 2 years at the company.
Pros:
- They have tons of exciting projects to join, allowing you to advance your career at a greater rate. To my knowledge, there are minimal "maintainence" projects. I was lucky enough to join a greenfield project which catapulted my career advancement
- You won't just "get by" here. You will be challenged and you will come out a stronger engineer. I came to inrhythm as a "foot soldier" who just kept his head down and pumped out code, I left as an engineer who understands every part of the SDLC, from ideation to production. I worked with some of the best.
- Coaching program, every engineer is assigned a coach that will track your growth as a dev as well as act as some sort of professional mentor-- this is incredibly valuable if you're just starting out || exp. < 5yrs.
- Pay/Benefits are usually market rate -- maybe a bit higher or bit lower depending on your negotiation skills ;)
Cons:
- It's hard for me to understand how Inrhythm has visibility of your performance on the client site on a day-to-day in order to allow advancement (promotions). It's quite difficult for a consultancy firm to do this in any case, but they do try with their coaching program.
- Bonuses are a tricky subject. My bonus target amount was not at all competitive to begin with + in my previous two bonus payouts I've not received nearly 100% of my bonus and both occasions there doesn't seem to be a solid justification, but from conversations with management I've learned this is a field they are trying to improve on this year (2020).

Great place for career growth with great people
|
The operations team here is small but mighty, goals are generally aligned across all teams. The management is always open to new ideas to fuel growth. It's great that career growth is a consistent topic so that you are always driven to do your best.
The people here are also great, makes coming into work everyday that much nicer.

I have been working at InRhythm for over a year at this point and I must say this is an organization that focuses on helping clients solve their toughest problems and enable us as consultants to truly learn and grow. I have had the opportunity to work on very cool technology stacks and with the coaching program, I have had someone dedicated to helping me take my learning and growth goals to the next level.
