Terrible Management and False Promises
|
I was employed at the company for 2 months and I was hired apart of a mass hiring. It was me and 200 other people at first it was great. Until it was the end of what they needed us for and they started firing people for no reason. This job always prided themselves on job security when really there was none. They hire you just to fire you a month later when their needs are met. No one ever tells you this is a temporary job. About 190 people were fired.

Great Team, Manager was terrible
|
Great team building environment, but the management was less than to be desired. I had equipment issues for over 3 weeks and received no pay even though the problem was not my fault.

Have you always been chastised at other jobs for being too chatty? You’ll be praised for it here!! Literally, your earning potential is mainly dependent on your availability to take calls and how well you stay engaged on the phone with callers while on hold and waiting for a licensed agent to pick up.
Management is laid back and friendly. They want you to succeed and have an open door policy!
All in all, do the obvious basics (clock in and out on time, be positive, etc.) and stay engaged and you’ll be successful.

Unprofessional and No Job Security
|
They provide all equipment. They have decent pay, the schedules are 8 to 8 and require a weekend day. So no consecutive days off. They bounce you around from supervisor to supervisor (that you never speak to) and rely on you to get support from invisible leads. The supervisors are not helpful and instead of coaching you they will fire you.

The recruiter will talk a big game and sell you on the benefits. When you actually start, you soon realize that you are just a number. All they look at are the numbers and only talk about support. The support, in any personal issues is a joke. They have zero sympathy or compassion to anyone disabled and will pressure you until you have had enough. Then, they will refuse to pay you the commission/bonus you earned. My specific manager claimed to be on my side, when he was not. He used my struggle to manipulate and harass me until I left the company. I'm glad to put them behind me and I'd suggest you look elsewhere. There are other companies that will actually support their sales people.

The people you are calling have no idea why you are calling. They get leads from people trying to get gift cards online, applying for a job, or trying to get section 8. Then you have to try to convince them to talk to an agent about life insurance or Medicare. Most just hang up on you . Others YELL AT YOU. Then they hang up ....About 600+ calls

Easy job and easy burn out. Easy in Easy out.

Won't work crazy hours or have to take work home but there is very little mobility for advancement. Making 500+ calls a day with very low quality leads(telemarking). It's just a number game. Management makes less than about half the producers and it shows with the low commitment to the team. Management is usually filled by people that are just burnt out from the phones not leaders of the company.
