First off, this job is for people who genuinely love the edm community, but also love to help others. Many are hired only to hijack a free ticket into edc, but the problem with that is that it causes more harm than good. When I was hired at this job, I did not know that I would grow so much as an individual by simply helping customers who where in dire need. You learn a lot from managers, and peers around you that not only enjoy the music, but make it their priority to take the job seriously when it comes to aiding others, keeping them safe, and sticking to 10-12 hour shifts. Managment always encourages love, progress, and unity amongst coworkers and that is what I love the most. It is fun, but just a reminder that it is very tiring at some moments, and it will require your full dedication above all the fun. it will require, loss of sleep, overtime, often skipping a meal, running, patience!! walking, and talking. Insomniac must become your life in order to succeed. Beautiful production to witness, an amazing production team and site staff, that put together amazing events. Unless this culture is your life and the most important thing to you, its better to not work here. I changed departments from Site Ops to Entertainment which was much better suited to my skillset. The culture is amazing, great attitude among coworkers and many insightful peers.
