Not many pros. Horrible company. I usually don’t bash businesses like this, but there was poor management, it was dirty and corporate was not very involved as they are the ones who are supposed to be doing the upkeep on the cleanliness. They put groupons up and cut the service providers commission! There was many times where I was talked down on. I tried my best at the position but they never make you feel good enough. Does not care about the employees or value their input. You are a number, to them you are only good for making them money. •Pay is low, you have to fight for raises (which can be deinied at anytime for unethical reasons) • Technicians product commission is commonly stolen by the same front desk staff member(s). Repeat offenders should have their right to earn commission revoked at the very least. • Poor insurance benefits. •They rarely honor the employee benefits offered. •Employees are under appreciated and taken for granted. • Unethical, unprofessional, and dishonest management. *make sure you get any offers in writing and signed by necessary parties if you expect them to be honored, and even then, no guarantees.* •Repeated no show and last minute cancellations are NEVER charged or booked as walk ins (on commission pay) so the technicians repeatedly miss out on opportunities to get paid for their time. This is a HUGE problem. •Management was easily manipulated and routinely turned a blind eye to toxic behavior, condoning and covering up harassment in the work place for 6+ years. The technician responsible was/is never held accountable for her unacceptable behavior because she uses her personal relationships with management to her advantage. •No direct deposit, employees have to drive all the way into work on Fridays to pick up their paychecks. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 8.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 395193 Open To management: Hold yourself to the same standards you hold your employees to. Clients, fellow employees, location, birthday service The front desk gets walk in commission on retail that should go to the professionals and they also get a free service every month which the technicians do not get AND the company makes it very difficult to do any service trades between the technicians. There is no HR department and no one on the corporate who you can confide in. Corporate does not care what employees have to say. Nice nail polish colors in display Several cons in all departments at InSpa. Several review comments the last 2 months i.e. 'Damage Control'. Reality: For most Employees, working at InSpa will require that You also work a 2nd or 3rd Job. This includes the Leads. Single Parents will require Subsidized Housing, Section 8, etc to Survive Not much Room for 'growth', 'opportunity'.
