The work atmosphere is great, really fun people to work with. The job is fairly varied, I have quite a lot of tasks & responsibilities to keep me busy, including training co-ordination & standard admin duties. I've gained some very useful knowledge, especially with software. A lot of the company's work is paper-based, but new systems are being set up to make everything more digital. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a lot of freedom and a casual dress code. The breaks are generous (3 breaks a day), and the salary is good. The management is archaic, one of the m.d's come from the abbey national and struts around checking everyone is at their seat and not talking. It was once suggested that a radio be put in the department, but he also shot that down in flames. The head of production is a dinasaur and struts around like everyone should bow down to her. The smokers are allowed out for breaks, but non smokers are not. The salary was minimum wage, absolutely no chance or room for advancement.
