private:integratedmarketingservices https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=798915 Sep 24th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open IN Connected Marketing Art Director Chicago, IL Good for experience but not much else You get a lot more responsibilities here for lower level roles than at other agencies. Working on larger campaigns and pitches. No room for growth, leadership prefers to push until people quit and hire someone else for rather than consider promotions or even talking about a plan for growth. There is a lot of talk about being connected but most of the time when you have problems you are left on an island to figure it out. Any support that is given usually comes from peers while management leaves you out to dry. There are good people around but none of them are in positions to actually help you. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 1.0 2.0 3.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 1.0 798915 Open Listen to your employees and help them grow rather then pushing them until they are burnt out. There is a very large disconnect between leadership and the people that are doing all the day to day work and it shows. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Mar 8th, 2021 07:36PM Mar 8th, 2021 07:36PM Integrated Marketing Services
private:integratedmarketingservices https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=798915 Sep 22nd, 2020 12:00AM Open Open IN Connected Marketing Account Executive Plano, TX Review The clients you get to work with are great! Being client facing (i.e. right down the street) is a major bonus. Not enough guidance for professional development. Not a lot of room for promotions. Senior leadership seems disconnected from the rest of the team. 0.0 3.0 3.0 2.0 2.0 2.0 3.0 798915 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Mar 8th, 2021 07:36PM Mar 8th, 2021 07:36PM Integrated Marketing Services
private:integratedmarketingservices https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=798915 Jun 16th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open IN Connected Marketing Account Executive- Chicago Office Chicago, IL Mediocre at best, Racially Tone Deaf company and infrastructure Decent social culture for the most part if you’re white. Internal infrastructure is horrible. No working system on effectively managing or communicating ever changing processes or deliverables so they are constantly putting out sloppy work/inaccurate work then playing the blame game. One of their largest clients literally deemed them the “sloppy shop”. Every internal team operates differently though they are all pretty much doing the same thing. Every team is subpar. Not a single team has a best practice or proven success track. Predominantly white office. Extremely tone deaf and micro & macro aggressive toward people of color. Leadership is clueless and most have never managed people before and it shows. If leadership has had previous people management experience, they have never kept a team staffed longer than a year before that team is looking to get out. Extremely high turn over across every level; someone was quitting from a role they’d performed less than 2 years regularly; quarterly. They just finished 2 rounds of layoffs and their budget was reduced for the next 2 years. No room for growth. You’ve seen all the other reviews. Believe them. This is not a great company or one to have longevity with. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 9.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 798915 Open Train your leaders. Develop your leadership. Then train and develop your associates. Outside classes, modules, workshops, set them up for success. Maybe have just one class on diversity and inclusion? Maybe, just for fun, give it a try? If you really care about that sort of thing. Do not ask for suggestions on better ways of working from associates and then get offended when your own mistakes are highlighted or called out within a proposed new process to avoid repeated consequences. Real leaders are receptive of feedback and can produce more leaders. If you’re the best one on your team, you’re doing it all wrong. One sided feedback from the top down only is always a mistake. If you see other leaders making insensitive remarks or choices, speak up. Use your privilege and your influence. Being silent and knowing someone is wrong or could have done something better means you’re complicit. If you don’t know what you’re doing, be transparent with your team and be comfortable with doing the work to do better. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Mar 8th, 2021 07:36PM Mar 8th, 2021 07:36PM Integrated Marketing Services

private:integratedmarketingservices https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=798915 Feb 15th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open IN Connected Marketing United States USA Shortsighted Leadership This place pulls in good clients and will tell you everything you want to hear during your interviews. Do the research. Can they back up the talk with actual produced work samples? Are there any ex-employees who do *not* have a “bait and switch” story about the job they accepted vs. the job they have? The answer is no. Try as they might, leadership cannot simply turn a bunch of sales orgs into an ad agency...and it shows. -1.0 DISAPPROVE 5.0 1.0 4.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 2.0 798915 Open Scrap it.
