"The essence of being a planning executive is that you are on standby for 24 hours" - as one of the managers of Integrated Marketing Service said. And he was right. It was an eighteen hour job almost everyday. That puts less priorities on work life balance. However, the salary/benefits were not enough to take care of that. The management was always eager to reap more than they sowed. However, it posed as a very good learning opportunity as I learned how to deliver in time, how to work under immense pressure. Though the work/life balance was almost nonexistent, the workplace culture was funny and warm which made things a bit easier.

Horrible culture and totally unprofessional work environment.

The culture was unprofessional and college-dorm-like. There was no management and the workflow was extremely unbalanced and inefficient. There were people who would come in late, play games and surf the internet then leave early while doing minimal work. Then there were people over loaded who would get very little time for lunch and work until 10:00 pm most nights. Very clicky and unfriendly. Terrible place.
