They understand work life balance for their employees. They focus on service and coaching for their clients. It's an energizing and fun company to work for. The team is very dedicated. Everyone's ideas are heard.

IntellaCar is a small company with passionate people at the helm. I've never worked with people so dedicated to one task. Working a home office gives me the freedom do what I need to at home. The management team values input and is open to outside idea to move the company forward.

I live on the east coast and the company is in California. This can make for long days on occasion. This is not the typical 9-5. Can be 8-9 depending on the day, location & work needing to be done.

The team had great work ethic and I truly enjoyed working with the other employees.
Work environment was relaxed from an attire standpoint, and my commute had minimal traffic because we worked at a house in a suburban neighborhood.

- I was lied to about my role in the firm, opportunities for advancement, and being able to get equity in the company.
- The product was not gaining traction with users, so on top of low sales, the company had low customer retention. This was clear to everyone in the company except the owners, yet they refused to listen to suggestions from employees and micromanaged them instead.
- Instead of being honest about the size of the company, management tried to give clients the impression we were a big enterprise. Even worse, they hired two more sales people(we only had two at the time) while I was there to make Honda think we had a big sales team. Both left within 6 months.

- Without any real CRM integrations, the product will never succeed. All the "work arounds" that had to be used meant that actually using the product was an inconvenience. That's counter intuitive, considering it's supposed to make the salesperson's job easier.
- There's nothing proprietary about IntellaCar. In fact, all dealer functions could be done better from a computer and all client-facing material could be found on the internet (i.e. I can use my cell phone to find that information, no need for your iPad).
- Understand that, while your main pitch of "engaging millennials with technology" makes sense to a 50 year old GSM, it's actually comically insulting to millennials. We like technology because it makes things more efficient, not just because we're millennials, so the idea that you can sell more cars to millennials just by shoving an iPad in their face is misguided.
