Providing technology support is not easy, and it's not 'easy' at Intellys. But if you want 'easy' go do something else, right? Intellys has a big portfolio and stresses 'quality of work' and customer satisfaction. Their customers are very important to them. Effective top down leadership does not leave team members confused. Full access to them any time I want to talk or have questions. No politics here. The company has 'employee and family first' policies and maintains a respectful and close connection with the team members. The leadership is innovative and seems to embrace change witch can make it challenging and fun for employees that want to learn new things, or stressful for someone who does not want to be challenged. Company will pay for training - if you initiate it and complete it. In staff meetings they often speak of maintaining relevance in a changing market, explain how technology is changing and how we all need to prepare for new types of opportunities, and creatively bundling services to create value etc - which are great things. Ive been here for years, and love it. Not much is handed to you. You have to take initiative. To be happy here you have to like a fluid work environment and a company that you know will continue change. Yes, sometimes it gets hectic - but the management here works hard to keep us from being over worked during the peaks. I've seen the top management helping almost everyone at every level and staying connected to the day to day responsibilities. Ive seen them help in shipping, dispatch, support escalations, support sales, etc. They are all in. Job hours are fairly consistent with little requests to work insane hours like others have stated. When big projects come in, or if there is an issue that is important to fix fast, they do expect the team to make things happen - to rise to the occasion. But, who doesn't? We now have a Friday work from home program that is really great. I personally feel valued and apart of something. For the most part, you will be answering emails and fulfilling the requests of customers and handling their projects. The pay is nice, and working from home was a huge plus. The management is very helpful with troubleshooting questions. The training was slightly lacking, since it was done from home working remote. A good portion of the beginning of the job was spent calling my manager for issues I had never seen, or been told of, in training. On the job training would have been more beneficial. To complete the job assignment that was given to you. I learned to install a different types of electronic equipment. Management was very good. The hardest was finding more work where I lived.
