The people at the London office are nice. Very low salaries that are not competitive, the benefits package is outdated, the working conditions are not flexible at all (as a result, the turnover of staff is really high for all positions). There's little room for growth, upper management is totally out of touch and do not engage with staff (much less listen to them). The work is also very interesting and of high quality. The IBA also provides good material conditions (great office, top IT system...). I worked with the IBA for over a year and have been disappointed with the working conditions: lack of trust towards employees, lack of flexibility, lack of transparency and communication, long working hours, low salaries, failure to address employees' concerns, etc... The place runs on goodwill in that regard. The location is also quite nice. Organisation does some cool things. The money across the board is not that good but that's to be expected with not-for-profit . Your experience will depend on the department, some are great to work in, some wouldn't be. People who stay, tend to stay for a long time. Most people building a real career tend to move on quite quickly.
