Working with them can be a life-changing experience. There have been management issues in recent years, but this is hopefully in the process of changing. Admin can be cumbersome. 0.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 3.0 3.0 3.0 1276311 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Mar 11th, 2021 10:33PM Mar 11th, 2021 10:33PM International Federation for Human Rights

The gave a coupon for lunch which worked at the Migros / Coop and other selected stores and restaurants. There was a huge lack of communication between the management and the interns ; we didn't even know who was working there, or what was happening. We were just left to ourselves and our only job was printing, photocopying and at times as the office is in a flat, cleaning cutlery and crockery. It was the most depressing pointless internship I have done. I spoke to other interns and they felt the same. Also coldness and lack of rapport with management. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 1.0 5.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1276311 Open Communication + actual benefit to/ mentoring of the interns and not just using them as free labour. 0.0 [] PART_TIME No No 0.0 Mar 11th, 2021 10:33PM Mar 11th, 2021 10:33PM International Federation for Human Rights

One of the positive outtakes from my internship was the tremendous space provided to learn everyday without being expected to have prior knowledge or experience and then being reprimanded. Spending five months there was rather dynamic, engaging, fast-paced, and on most occasions, stimulating. It all culminated into an unbelievably fulfilling experience. If you're signing up to work at FIDH, prepare yourself to enter the deeper end of the pool from the very first day. One can find themselves out of place with a lack of proficiency in conversational French. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 3.0 5.0 1276311 Open 0.0 [] No No 1.0 Mar 11th, 2021 10:33PM Mar 11th, 2021 10:33PM International Federation for Human Rights
