That will fade as his mood changes with the wind. Despite his rampant mistreatment of employees, there are a few really great people left . But, it’s a pity that all of their positive output often falls on deaf ears and passes blind eyes. The company is mainly run by three executives, otherwise known as the unholy trinity. Pretty early on, you’re put under a microscope and are monitored to the point where upper management looks for any inconsiquential reason to reprimand you. It’s defintely not an environment that evokes a feeling of community or encourages creative thinking or even intelligence. They’re not only unapproachable, inaccessible, and unfriendly, they don’t even seem to have any tact or decorum when it comes to communication. Their e-mail etiquette is downright bizarre, as are their people skills. Don’t even get my started on how crass and money hungry they are. Yikes. Upper management doesn’t seem to mind wasting your time and will often ask you to drop everything you’re working on so you can cater to their impulses—“urgent” projects that end up collecting dust on their desks. They treat their employees like expendable cult followers, not as members of a cohesive team with a shared vision. In summary, if you’re expecting growth and professionalism, you won’t find it here. Relatively good health insurance. Nothing else really, but I need to have 20 words in this Pros box Everything else. No real career growth opportunities. Also they can actually promote you without raising a salary, but adding more responsibility. CEO does not know what he is doing and absolutely clueless about how biotech works. CFO is way too young and inexperienced and does not care enough about his job, he is son of the CEO.
