- Typical tech cube farm environment.
- Coffee provided. $15 stipend per month for snacks. Donuts & bagels on Friday.
- Learned a lot of health care industry protocol
- Management is functional and basically approachable
- Hardest part of the job was keeping focused on a project. There is always an urgent issue or meeting to attend.
- Most enjoyable part is knowing we were saving lives on a daily basis

A difficult environment

The work environment was quite hostile and toxic. No many achievements were recognized. The chances to progress were minimal. Superiors where hostile to me and my co-workers and mocked our complaints.

Great company if you were oblivious to its future
|
Going public was the goal for the company and it used that as the primary incentive to retain midlevel to senior level employees. It is going on 9+ years of pitching the kool-aid. Great employees, friendly and semi-relaxed work environment. You get the warm and fuzzies for how it improves healthcare, but if you are proactive you can't expect it to be a long-term career. I believe in the concept, just not the team to carry it out. However, I still bought my stock options when I left... :(
