State of the art equipment for doing research, facilities available 24h, subsidized catering facilities on site, well connected with public transport links, some running 24h. Pay is ok. Graduate office admins are very helpful.

Management is very disorganized, administrative assistants do not always know what they are doing. Overall, as a PhD student you are on your own managing your research and handling administrative puzzles, especially if you are a foreigner. Too much undercurrent gossip, intrigues and fear mongering. Still good place to get your PhD degree but be ready to leave as soon as you get it.
