The default raise is 12 cents. A particular executive of the company rules with an iron fist and have made people cry. My overall experience at j5create is wonderful. You don't feel like management is breathing down your neck, which is my favorite part. As long as you do your job and be a team player, you'll do great. Management trusts you and looks out for you after you demonstrate those 2 things. The team I currently work with is almost like a family. EXCELLENT work environment. Highly recommend the Customer Service/ Tech Support position to IT students as its a great place to learn basic troubleshooting among a few other things. BUT .. the pay is terrible. Benefits are expensive. I'd only recommend this to those who are still living with their parents or have roommates. Speaking of people, dont expect more than a third of the team to do anything more than look busy for the warehouse manager. That is really all the pros. The pay was below average for my position, management is a joke, anything that needed to be done was done when they got around to it. Communication was nonexistant unless it was for someone getting chewed out. I was promised two reviews in my year there, one every six months, the first was about two weeks late, and the second was never completed before i quit. After working there all i had to show was a 9.14 an hour salary, and a major dislike of people. When you first look at this place you see that it is a smaller company where you think you can have a major part, they welcome you with open arms and within a short period of time you are just another number to them, just there to put money into the pockets of some "wonderful people". I want to conclude my review by saying AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE IT IS NOT WORTH IT! GO WORK ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE AREA!
