They are a temp company. The worst part was they contracted me through April and then Monday told me my last day was Wednesday due to lack of work. They then proceeded to tell me that while training I didn’t do enough work, but we were supposed to follow along with the trainer, so I was confused. Why would the trainer tell us not to go ahead of her if they were going to penalize us? It made no sense. The pay was good and the company seemed well organized. I’d work there again if I was in need of a temporary position. Since all work was remote from home, cannot say much about the workplace culture or environment, as it did not apply. The most difficult part of the job was not knowing whether employment would continue past the current assignment. I didn't work at Jacobson, only worked with the clients a remote basis. Only heard from Jacobson once a month. They would call the client and then would call the underwriters. I wish the assignment was longer contract. Would love to work there permanently remotely. Would have loved to see and meet some of the workers in person. The workers welcome you and made you feel like you been there forever.
