Thoroughly enjoyed working here. It was contracted job so it wasn't long term, but I learned a lot and the employees were very nice. Would recommend to anyone.

Paid to work out
|
Fun routines and get to workout entire class. Downside is pay $20/class. Takes a lot of time to learn choreographed routines and you don’t have any flexibility in choreographing your own routines.

Carlsbad Corporate Headquarters
|
A lot of the 5 star reviews on indeed are fake and rest assured, the ones on this site are as well.
As a former employee at the Carlsbad corporate headquarters, I can share my honest perspective. While there are some positive aspects, there are several areas that leave much to be desired.
Let's start with the negatives. The level of business sense within the company varies greatly depending on the department you work in. Unfortunately, in many cases, chaos seems to prevail over structured processes. Despite being a company with a significant number of employees and over 50 years of operation, there is an enduring "mom and pop" atmosphere that permeates the workplace. This can be frustrating, as it may lead to inefficient decision-making and disorganization.
The benefits provided by the company are quite basic, and the health insurance offered is far from stellar. Copayments are large, which can put a strain on employees' finances. However, it's worth noting that at least employees are covered at 100%. Additionally, accrued time off is disappointingly limited, with employees only receiving a little over 8 hours per month. This translates to roughly 2.5 weeks of vacation per year, which is quite meager compared to industry standards. 401k contribution from the company (matching) is a measly 10% of what you contribute, which you are eligible to do after 1 year. Raises cap out at 3-4% per year, at least if you are an individual contributor.
On a more positive note, the people I have had the opportunity to work with at the company are generally very kind and genuine. The majority of colleagues are friendly and approachable, creating a supportive and enjoyable work environment. Additionally, one of the perks offered by the company is free workouts at corporate-owned centers in Oceanside and Carlsbad.
Finally, it's worth mentioning that there appears to be a healthy work-life balance within the company. It seems that most employees do not work late or put in excessive hours, which is refreshing.
