I had some kind and fun co workers but the management is aloof and the general feeling is that the company may not be around much longer. There is a lot of autonomy, especially since I was brought in to build the email program. There's also a lot of cross-functional collaboration, so I gained a lot of experience across different disciplines of marketing and product strategy. Unfortunately, the business model is at the mercy of whatever changes may or may not happen with the algorithms of the social channels they operate on. This puts financial strain on the company and causes uncertainty for employees' futures with the company.
