The Gig space ended up being too challenging due to various state's inability to see the need for a different type of worker classification. The current model of either "employee" or "independent contractor" doesn't work for those interested in participating in Gig type work. IMO, a third classification is needed.

You also knew exactly how much each job would pay.

Sometimes there were not enough jobs for all the Jyvers in a certain area. Not a reliable enough source of income to use as a career (but fantastic side money gig).

You can't tell people the job will take 30 minutes when it takes 1.5 hours. The worst part was that to get my payment the company you use took 20% as a fee. I did a good and thorough job, because that is who I am, but I will never do another Jyve. The company won't survive if nothing changes.
