You can be a great designer, but still have poor communication skills. There needed to be more open and honest constructive communication, not just constant belittling and getting angry. Mr. G. B. Pillai drives the company mission of education and curiosity by working with the Product Development team daily and always setting the innovation bar higher each day. His wisdom and entrepreneurial spirit disrupted the zoo category over 40 years ago and today he continues to lead the market globally. Mr. Vishnu Chandran is the most positive leader I have encountered in my 26 years of working. The business features highs and lows and his attitude towards both is to learn. Our President places his family first and expects all of his employees to keep a healthy work life balance to ensure your work is productive. He operates a global company by empowering his leaders. The most amazing aspect to the company is the Promise to the Planet. Both the Chairman and President are not driven by bottom line, but rather are seeking to change the world and leave Wild Republic's legacy of helping humans, animals and the environment. This is a strategy they have executed against and recently took the promise to a new level. The pace of the growth rate is rapid. Often, however, they are but copies of another company's original idea. A revolving door for many. People are let go before they can see their efforts come to fruition. The term "restructuring" is used loosely and could simply mean that you've served your purpose and we just don't want to pay you anymore. Owner and founder (who exhibits many cultural differences), is still highly involved when he should have retired long ago, and makes many knee-jerk, foolish decisions that cost the company money and good people. Neither he or his grandson (the company president), can look you straight in the eye; thus, cannot be trusted. (Most everyone in the industry knows about this company's poor reputation.) Grandson is often more focused on his kid or playing tennis than the company. Their actions are penny-wise and pound-foolish. A couple of people in the corporate office seem to have the boss wrapped around their finger; they cry and whine and always get their way. A bit of back-stabbing. Problems might be addressed (if one dares to even mention them), but never seem to get resolved, and "loyalty" is a four-letter word. Get your affairs in order, or hire, and try to keep, somebody who can do it for you.
