When I first got this job, I was absolutely excited to start and grow with the company. But I was wrong. This company will TREAT you like a number. Turnover is high at this company. Management is awful because they don’t speak up. Being a good manager also means being a good leader. And there were quite a few people that were far from that. Good managers support their employees and help them grow. These people don’t give a crap about you. Instead of effectively coaching you, they just expect you to have it all down. If you don’t; they will just talk behind your back and act shady, then get rid of you.

- Dying brands
- Pay is WAY BELOW industry standards
- Beware of a company that has employees who have worked there either under 5 years or 10+ years. There is not a even spread of years worked at Kahala. That's because the under 5-year employees are working there to get gain experience and get out. The 10+ employees are scared to try to go anywhere else because they are comfortable in the toxic work environment they have created and honestly probably know they don't have any transferrable skills that would help a truly great QSR brand.
