Amazing company, I have loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend Kenna Security. They have smart folks at the helm driving them in the right direction. Unmatched technology that takes the pain out of vulnerability management programs. Great group of hardworking A-players across the organization. Kenna still has the startup culture, in my time there it felt more like family than coworkers. Excellent benefits and compensation for a smaller startup. The executive team is open and accessible to teams across the organization. Good energy and people are generally excited to come to work every day.

Personally, I Couldn't Ask For More

There are many reasons why I'm quite satisfied with my position at Kenna. Here are a few:
- I love my manager. She is transparent, honest, and enables me to succeed. Plus she's wicked funny so meetings are always fun.
- I believe in our product vision and find the space to be exciting and engaging.
- The people I work with are smart and kind. I can't overstate the importance of the latter, especially in my previous experiences.
- Room for growth and expansion of my skillset. We're a small and scrappy team, and there's plenty of opportunities to get involved in different projects and exposure to new subject matters.
- Competitive compensation.
- Flexible working arrangements (even prior to COVID, of course).
- Solid benefits. Our People Team are even introducing new resources for mental health support, recognizing the toll COVID/2020 has taken on the team.

Not a traditional "Con", but just a reality: Kenna is in a growth stage. It requires employees to be adaptable and work with intentionality and urgency. That may not be a fit for every person, and that's OK. It's important to understand your working style and needs and make a judgment accordingly.

Things are moving forward!

- Much better alignment with Product and long terms goals
- New leadership brining in fresh ideas and hiring dependable teammates, a lot of the negative aura seems to have dissipated
- Mental Health days have been a welcomed bonus
|
- Some people are a little weary of the turnover but seems like we're rebuilding the right way hopefully
- We are starting to get more of a Diversity & Inclusion focus, hopefully this blossoms into something employees want to run with as well, not just leadership

Great Company, Great Team!

Kenna has been extremely supportive throughout this whole covid ordeal. They continue to check in on their employees overall wellbeing. The HR team has set up various company engagement activities covid and non covid related. One of the employees has a friend who is a life couch and therapist and she gave a presentation on mindfulness and wellbeing. During the month of October we had a pumpkin decorating/carving contest and winners received a prize.
Prior to this pandemic Kenna has always been remote friendly and understanding of work/life balance. I think that there is transparency between the C-suit and individual contributors. Kenna has gone through some reorgs/ changes but what company has not? I felt that they were transparent in the changes and did a great job in addressing the company. I have friends who work at various other tech companies that have gone through reorgs and were told nothing. I feel that Kenna treats their employees well and I would recommend working for this organization to anyone.
