Mid level management would benefit from some code of conduct behavior training. They lack social graces and the low level staff is treated poorly. It's important to point out that the owners do not behave this way, they seem to put trust in their staff and a lot of nonsense goes on behind the scenes when the owners aren't looking. Training is rushed because of all the heavy deadlines. They really should create training processes that are clearly laid out and hire training managers whose only focus is to train. Considering you are a current employee, you should really speak to someone live about your experience so the problem can be resolved. If you feel you cannot talk to your direct supervisor, I am sure the owners who you have stated care would be glad to listen and help resolve the issue. Also on your first day of employement, you received the Employee Handbook which clearly outlines the Code of Conduct along with many other company policies. If you feel somone has breached the conduct, definitely bring this to the attention of the owners so they can handle that. The management team has been working on improving the training and updating the operations manuals so they can be used in training for the last 9 months. It is a long process unfortunately. Weekly collaboration with departments, open door communication with the owners, quarterly team meetings, impromptu Friday BBQ's, 401K, PTO and overall a true sense of a team and family. Some of us have or have had, members of our family work with us. We all work very hard but at the end of the week, you’ll often feel a great sense of accomplishment in what you completed and what you learned. Kessler Creative is constantly expanding in size, this includes gaining clients, staff, machines and square footage. Everyone (management and non-management) all work together to solve problems and issues so that we can all continue to grow. This is a place that you are truly treated like family. Owners are very understanding on personal issues that may arise and will do anything that can to help in any situation. Employee benefits are much better than most companies, including medical, dental, paid time off and also 401K that the owners match a percentage of what you put in. The owners always keep the employees in mind and have quarterly meetings to keep everyone updated and involved in big changes coming to the company. As with any company, improvements could always be made. The biggest one that stands out to me is the communication between different departments. I do know that in more recent months, more training has been given so that staff hired in these different positions can get a better understanding of how everyone works together. There are a lot of long time clients and many employees who have been with Kessler for many years. Medical, dental, vacation, a 401k program and flexibility with kids/family are great benefits. I worked for Kessler for a little over a year and learned a great deal about the Direct Mail Business. This is a job where you can make some decent money if you put in the time and hard work. When you work for Kessler you are treated like family. They are a very caring company. Company did go through many growing pains and a lot of turn over. The company has been growing consistently for the last few years. They always invest money in expanding the business by purchasing new equipment and adding staff. There is a tremendous opportunity to grow with the company.The company offers medical and dental coverage, paid time off for sick days and vacation time, quarterly meetings with awards and bonuses, holidays that are closed and paid for. Their is opportunity to move up with the company over time. The management gives annual reviews to all staff members with raises and goals for the next year. The business is really fast paced and offers a quick turn around to clients.
