I started after the site I'm working at was acquired by Kibo. The first 6 months I was there people were leaving the company in droves. I am on call 24/7/365 and have no backup person.

Challenging, lots of opportunities for growth, but high chance of burnout
|
Working at Kibo can be pretty hectic as there are a lot of projects going at once, and there's been a simultaneous decrease in staff and increase in workload. You'll need to be very organized, and open to communicating any issues you may be having. It can be easy to get overwhelmed, but it's important to reach out when you do.
One thing that can be frustrating is that lot of your resources that you need to work with may be scattered or outdated.

Great if you work in any other department other than the CSA team
|
This company is horrible. Customers are allowed to chew you out over the phone and most of the manufacturers do not answer your emails in a timely manner. Order resolution takes way too long and if you find a creative way outside of what the manufacturer wants you to use to solve the issue, you are fired. Employees are allowed to harass other employees with no fear of repercussions. My anxiety levels were through the roof the entire time I was there no thanks to one person in particular who was upset because I was chosen for an interview for another department within a shorter spans of time because of my background and they were not. The traffic and pay are emphatically not worth the while.

Challenging but Rewarding

Kibo is a fast paced and challenging start-up company. There are opportunities to expand your skills and take on as much as you are willing. The culture is friendly but everyone is hardworking, so it sometimes appears to be a bit cold, but that is far from the reality. Everyone is focused on the tasks at hand but they are always willing to help or answer questions if needed.
