There is a lot of autonomy within your role, so if you are a self-starter you can really make an impact.
The culture is very laid back with a focus on the people of Kinetic Data. People are paramount which is important. They have great healthcare and fair pay and really want to help employees succeed.
If you are driven, willing to learn and can focus without someone watching over you, you will do great!

KD is evolving and maturing. It's a normal cycle for small companies with great products to go through some learning curves and growing pains. They are getting their arms around how to scale the company and create more structure but it doesn't happen over night.
Often, the roadmap to success in a role is not "laid out for you." So, If you are not a self-motivated person, you will struggle with certain aspects of the company and culture over time.

They are decent folks, mostly, so if you just want to spend a few years there, it can't hurt.
|
The management does not have the skill or experience to really grow the company. Their niche is becoming over populated by companies who can do the very same things, only better and as a part of a larger solution stack. It's a hobby shop for the owner and his buddies / family members. They have never been counted in the real software marketplace of successful growth companies. This will always be an underperforming company with minimal growth.

It's not for everyone, but people tend to either not fit in and leave quickly or thrive and stay for a long time.
